All food at Grapevine Nursery School is vegetarian
Food is freshly prepared, using healthy ingredients. We encourage children to take a keen interest in what they eat by allowing them to help with baking.
When sandwiches are on the menu youngsters are sometimes encouraged to butter their own bread and choose fillings.
Our menu rotates every eleven days, to ensure children sample every meal on offer
Day one
Lunch - sweet and sour noodles.
Tea - potato and leek soup with bread.
Rice pudding
Day two
Lunch - Spanish omelette and salad
Tea - tea cakes/crumpets. Milk shake
Day three
Lunch - savoury rice
Tea - crusty bread cheese and pickle.
Home made biscuits
Day four
Lunch - tuna fishcakes and vegetable sticks
Tea - beans on toast. Fresh fruit.
Day five
Lunch - lentil loaf and salad sticks
Tea - broccoli-and-cheese soup,
with bread. Yoghurt
Day six
Lunch - tuna pasta
Tea - assorted sandwiches.
Oaty biscuits.
Day seven
Lunch - cauliflower cheese, and potato wedges.
Tea - spaghetti on toast. Yoghurt
Day eight
Lunch - fish fingers, potato wedges, and peas
Tea - assorted sandwiches, and salad.

Tea - tuna sandwiches. Fruit
Day ten
Lunch - corn pancakes and coleslaw
Tea - macaroni cheese. Milk shake

Lunch - wraps with a variety of fillings
Tea - parsnip soup and bread. Muffins
